Posting an IT Task is completely FREE. If you select a $25 Quick Consultation you will be asked to pay the $25 fee up-front. But no other IT Tasks require any payment until you have selected a TEKI to work on your project.
If you post a $25 Quick Consultation you will be asked to pay the $25 fee up-front. It will be held in our onlineTEKI Holding Account until you are satisfied the consultation has been completed and you release it.
To learn more about how the $25 Quick Consultations work, visit our information page HERE.
Once you’ve posted your IT Task, TEKI’s can start bidding on it. You’ll then select the TEKI who best fits your needs and budget by approving their bid.
Before a TEKI can begin work on your project, you’ll need to deposit the Task Contract amount that you agreed on into your onlineTEKI Holding Account. Your TEKI is notified that the funds have been deposited and can then commence work on your IT Task.
If it’s required for your IT Task, you can then hand over any passwords or login information after your IT Task is allocated to your chosen TEKI (not before). If your TEKI is coming to your home, or you are dropping your hardware off at their premises, you can safely exchange details at this time.
Once your IT Task has been completed to your satisfaction, your TEKI marks your IT Task as “Delivered” and you will then be promoted to release the funds from your onlineTEKI Holding Account to your TEKI.
If at any time you are not satisfied, please explain your concerns to your TEKI first. If you still need help, please reach out to us at the onlineTEKI Support Team. We can help to ensure a fair resolution.
In the rare case of a dispute, it’s important to have a clear record of communication. Unfortunately, any communication with your TEKI done outside your Workspace (on the onlineTEKI website) can’t be taken into consideration if a dispute arises. We are also unable to assist with any payments made outside the onlineTEKI platform. Payments made outside our Task Platform are against our Terms of Service – This is to protect both you and your TEKI.
We want everyone to have a comfortable, safe, and professional experience on our platform. If at any time you suspect your TEKI has done something untoward or unprofessional, please notify us immediately by contacting our onlineTEKI Support Team HERE.
Please note currently all IT Task prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). This may change in the future.
